Canvasing the Four Winds, Inc. is known for offering the highest quality canvas transfers in the industry. Our process is completely hand done. No computer reproduction or heat transfer machines are used in our process.

At Canvasing the Four Winds, Inc. each image undergoes a series of up to eleven steps that enables our skilled artisans to hand lift the image from the paper substrate. While paying the closest attention to quality and detail, the image is transferred to a primed 100% cotton canvas and mounted on wood stretcher bars. Our talented artists enhance each canvas with brush strokes emulating the original. The result is a beautiful piece of art having the look and appeal of an original.

We pay the utmost attention to each and every detail. We offer a variety of finishing touches for our customers. We offer antique crackle finish to age and add an extra dimension to the transferred image.

We offer a variety of high quality frames; many with hand wrapped linen liners and gold or silver tone fillets. Gold or silver nameplates may be added for that art gallery look.


We also offer gallery wrap with the exclusive Four Winds touch. The canvas is wrapped around the sides and custom painted by Tony Apodaca, our skilled artisan, to match or enhance the image. The gallery wrap gives the canvas a finished look and no frame is necessary.

 All prices listed on our web page are retail prices. For wholesale discounts, please fax your name, company, type of business, and your resale number on your letterhead and we will fax you our discount schedule.

  • Canvasing the Four Winds, Inc. is not responsible for damage such as drop out on customer's supplied prints.


    Care and Handling
  • Canvas surface may be gently wiped with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use any cleaners or waxing agents on the canvas.
  • Frames may be wiped with a clean dusting cloth lightly sprayed with a wood wax or cleaner.
  • Canvas transfer is made from a print and it is therefore susceptible to fading.
  • Do not hang in direct sunlight.
